If you’ve ever wanted to climb inside my brain (a questionable choice, but here we are), this is the place. Every week, I send out personal essays and musings on storytelling, books, and whatever chaotic thoughts won’t leave me alone. Expect a mix of deep dives, irreverent observations, and the occasional hot take that I might regret later.

I also do book and wine pairings—because if we’re going to discuss literature, we might as well have a drink in hand.

Some things I love: sharp writing, a well-placed F-bomb, complex female characters, and arguing over whether or not certain books actually needed that second act. Some things I don’t: pedantic writing, people who say “just relax,” and the idea that motherhood has to consume a woman’s entire identity.

If you’re into essays that make you think, laugh, or reconsider your life choices, stick around. You can subscribe for free or become a paid subscriber if you want to support my work (and my book-buying habit). Either way, I’m glad you’re here.

Now, let’s overanalyze something together.

Subscribing grants you full access to the newsletter and publication archives.

A front-row seat to my (mostly) chaotic thoughts—personal essays, story-adjacent musings, book & wine pairings, and the occasional hot take you didn’t ask for but probably need. Updated weekly, because consistency is my one redeeming quality. Sometimes.
